The Sims™ 3 Ambitions Expansion pack
The EA Play Label of Electronic Arts Inc. today announced that The Sims™ 3 Ambitions Expansion pack* is in development and will launch in June 2010. As the second expansion pack to The Sims 3, the best-selling PC game of 2009**, The Sims 3 Ambitions allows players to pursue a variety of exciting paths and careers in their Sims’ lives that in turn affect their overall gameplay experience and neighbourhood. While on the job, the player has direct control over their Sims’ work and can choose how to spend their days. Players can opt to make house calls and save lives as a doctor or choose the devious route and test experimental medicine on patients be the hero firefighter tackling raging infernos or smashing everything in sight at the victim’s home with an axe; or take a shot at solving cases as an investigator, nicely convincing sources to divulge secrets or roughing up perpetrators in a dark alley to get information.
“The variety of careers to choose from is unmatched and we’ve never given players the opportunity to follow their Sims to work and affect their actions on the job,” said Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims Studio at EA. “The Sims 3 Ambitions changes that. Players’ actions at work now directly affect their lives, community and neighbours and become an extremely important part of how the game is played.”
Jane Jensen confirms:music score for Gray Matter
There’s good news for all adventure game fans all over the world, as confirmed by genre queen Jane Jensen in her Gray Matter development blog today:
Adventure game music veteran Robert Holmes is composing the soundtrack for her upcoming masterpiece, Gray Matter. Robert Holmes became famous when he did the first music scores for the Gabriel Knight adventure games, which also made author Jane Jensen popular.
As Jane Jensen states in her blog entry, Robert Holmes composed several music tracks for the Gray Matter soundtrack. Other pieces have been created by independent band The Scarlet Furies, also formed by Robert Holmes. Jane Jensen offers a free MP3 download on her Gray Matter blog: http://blog.graymatter-game.com

I must have played both the Diablo original and Diablo 2 games until the discs were almost melted in the drive but now I am eagerly awaiting yet another installment of this wonder from Blizzard! The news today is the Wizard, their own page with videos of the master at work.
Just Cause 2 demo date announced
For those of you waiting eagerly for the title Just Cause 2 to come out, or even a taste of it, then this is big news for you. Square Enix has just let the big cat out of the bag, that they are to release a demo of this game.

EQ2 patch day woes
